Huntington Police Blotter: Man Robbed By 3 Men; Cellphone Stolen
ALSO: Two homes were broken into; and two bags worth a combined $7,000 were swiped, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from March 19 through March 25.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- March 23: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Biltmore Circle in Huntington Station at 10 a.m. A man entered a home through a back door, walked into the kitchen, and stole Apple AirPods and a sweatshirt, police said.
- March 23: Burglary (second-degree) was reported on Biltmore Circle in Huntington Station at 8:30 a.m. A window screen was damaged, police said.
- March 21: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported at Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington at 1:34 p.m. Someone broke the windshield of a 2022 Mercedes and stole two Louis Vuitton bags worth a combined total of nearly $7,000, as well as a black wallet, police said.
- March 19: Robbery (first-degree) was reported on East Fifth Street in Huntington Station at 1:20 a.m. A man was attacked by three men he did not know, police said. He suffered injuries to his left arm, left leg and the back of his head, police said. The men stole his money and cellphone, police said. The man who was attacked went to Huntington Hospital, police said.
