Huntington Police Blotter: Man Shoots Person

A man shot someone, with the victim suffering non-life threatening injuries. See other arrests made in the Huntington area this week: cops.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from July 28 through August 2.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.

  • Raheem Wilson, 46, of Bay Shore, allegedly drove with a suspended license westbound on a 495 service road, half a mile east of Route 231, and was arrested in Huntington and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: mandatory suspension on August 2.
  • Yordanny Hidalgo, 27, of Sleepy Hollow, allegedly told an officer he was someone he wasn't at West 10th Street in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with false personation and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on August 2.
  • Kyirei Betts, 23, of Huntington Station, allegedly entered the fenced property of Island Block Masonry, and was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespass: enclosed property on August 2.
  • Donna Fitzmaurice, 59, of Forest Hills, allegedly stole two bottles of wine at 11:14 a.m. on July 27, and was arrested and charged with petty larceny on August 1.
  • Kendron Rivers, 23, of Huntington Station, allegedly shot someone on 11th Avenue of Huntington Station on July 26. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Rivers was arrested and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with weapon on August 1.
  • Reynaldo Quintanilla, 23, of Central Islip, allegedly drove eastbound on the I-495 at 6:33 p.m. with a suspended license, and was arrested in Huntington and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle: 3 > suspensions on August 1.
  • Fredis Beltran, 23, of Lindenhurst, allegedly was involved in a crash while driving a 2007 Chrysler on North Service Road in Dix Hills on July 30 at 4:28 p.m., and he failed to stop and exchange information. He was arrested and charged with operator leaving scene with property damage accident on July 31.
  • Peggy Koulias, 66, of Huntington Station, allegedly left a small gray Shih Tzu in the car in extreme heat without proper ventilation, and was arrested and charged with animal in vehicle: extreme temperature on July 30.
  • Luis Pena, 26, of Westbury, allegedly was involved in a crash and failed to stop while driving a 2016 Jeep on Pinelawn Road Melville July 13 around 2:30 p.m., and was arrested and charged with operator leaving scene with property damage accident on July 30.
  • Brodie King, 24, of Greenlawn, allegedly drove with a suspended license on 10th Avenue, and was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and resisting arrest on July 30.
  • Nagee Smith, 27, of Newark, allegedly stole a handbag at Saks Fifth Avenue worth excess of $1,600, and was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value property > $1,000 on July 28.
