Huntington Police Blotter: Man Sold Narcotic Drugs

ALSO: A woman was accused of punching and spitting at a police officer, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from Aug. 28 through Sept. 4.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Qhamel Dickerson, 27, of Huntington Station, sold narcotic drugs to someone in exchange for money on July 4, police said. He was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug on Sept. 1.
  • Sept. 1: Anijah Daniels, 23, of Huntington Station, punched a police officer in the head and spit on the officer who was trying to arrest her on the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 15th Street in Huntington Station around 4 p.m. on Sept. 1, police said. She was arrested in Huntington Station and charged with second-degree assault: intent to cause physical injury to officer, second-degree harassment: physical contact, and resisting arrest on Sept. 1.
  • Mark Smith, 62, of Huntington Station, damaged two commercial refrigerating condensing units in Huntington Station on Aug. 20, police said. One unit weighed 15 tons while the other weighed 7.5 tons, police said. He was arrested in Upton and charged with second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree grand larceny on Aug. 28.
