Huntington Police Blotter: Man Steals Can Of Beer

A stolen can of beer, stolen coats, damage to a car and a Home Depot theft make up some Huntington arrests for the week: Suffolk Police.

HUNTINGTON, NY—Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from June 11 through June 16.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.

  • Lethicia Gabriel, 34, of East Northport, allegedly stole cosmetics from a CVS in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with petty larceny on June 16.
  • Patrick Beck, 35, of Huntington, allegedly stole a 24 oz. can of beer valued at $3.29 from the CVS located at 2 E. Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with petty larceny on June 16.
  • Darryl Robbins, 61, of Brentwood, allegedly stole a gas trimmer, propane grill and four-pack of high density rollers from the Home Depot located at 785 New York Ave. in Huntington, and was arrested and charged with petty larceny on June 15.
  • Edduin Estevez Rodriguez, 22, of Lindenhurst, allegedly drove a 2001 Volkswagen going southbound on Melville Road and Cortland Court in South Huntington while impaired, and was arrested and charged with operating motor vehicle while impaired by drugs on June 14.
  • Deveron Laing, 48, of Hempstead, allegedly stole three Canada Goose coats from the shopping center located at 160 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, and was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny on June 13.
  • Hector Reyes, 41, of Dix Hills, allegedly broke the rear windshield wiper, the driver's side mirror and front passenger side door handle of a 2000 Ford Explorer in Huntington, and was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal mischief with intent to damage property on June 12.
  • Melvin Jones, 48, of Huntington Station, allegedly stole groceries from the Stop & Shop located at 1100 E. Jericho Turnpike. in Huntington, and was arrested and charged with petty larceny on June 11.
