Huntington Police Blotter: Man Steals Handbags From Store
ALSO: Two other people stole clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from March 5 through March 11.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Rosbelis Roja-Castro, 20, who is homeless, entered Saks Fifth Avenue in South Huntington with another person and placed clothing in her bag and stole it at 5:20 p.m. March 8, police said. She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 on March 8.
- Williams Lucena-Martinez, 22, of Long Island City, entered Saks Fifth Avenue in South Huntington with another person and stole clothing, police said. He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000 on March 8.
- Shabazz Moody, 24, of Brooklyn, stole handbags from Saks Fifth Avenue in South Huntington at 4:30 p.m. March 5, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree grand larceny on March 5.
