Huntington Police Blotter: Man Stole 3 Cars
The cars were stolen in the span of roughly a month-and-a-half, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from April 3 through April 10.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Shaka Butler, 33, of Huntington Station, sold cocaine, amphetamine or oxycodone in Huntington Station on at least six occasions between Jan. 10 and April 5, police said. He was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: 1/2 oz of narcotic drug, three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug, two counts of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on April 5.
- Lonnie Elliselder, 31, of Huntington, stole a 2015 Toyota in Huntington on Feb. 19, stole a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Huntington on March 19, and stole a 2010 Cadillac in Deer Park on April 3, police said. Elliselder also stole a credit card out of a 2019 Dodge in Dix Hills on Feb. 20, and he was also in possession of an iPad and AirPods that had been stolen on March 19, police said. He was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree grand larceny, one count of fourth-degree grand larceny: credit card, and one count of criminal possession of stolen property on April 3.
