Huntington Police Blotter: Man Tries Cashing Forged Bank Check
ALSO: Another man tried running away after being stopped for a traffic violation in Huntington Station, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY —These are recent arrests made in the Huntington area from July 5 through July 10.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Kenyonne Fleurinay, 21, of South Huntington, exited a blue 2013 Honda through the rear passenger door and ran away after being stopped for a traffic violation at East 25th Street, Huntington Station, police said. He was found to be in possession of marijuana when he was searched, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree obstruct governmental administration and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana on July 8.
- Carl Nesbitt, 41, of Copiague, had a forged bank check he tried cashing without the permission of the person whose check it was, police said. He was arrested in Greenlawn and charged with second-degree possession of forged instrument on July 8.
