Huntington Police Blotter: Person Robbed At Knifepoint

Property and cash were stolen from the person during the robbery, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from April 17 through April 23.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • April 20: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on East Jericho Turnpike in South Huntington from April 15 at 10:12 a.m. Someone stole miscellaneous home items and toys from Target, police said.
  • April 19: Robbery (third-degree) was reported on Fairground Avenue in Huntington Station at 1 a.m. Someone stole property and cash from someone at knifepoint, police said.
  • April 18: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on East 2nd Street in Huntington Station from April 17 at 3:08 a.m. Five men stole a 2008 Ford that had power tools in it, but the Ford was recovered, police said.
  • April 18: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 6:30 p.m. A person stole WiFi routers from Best Buy, police said.
  • April 17: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on East 13th Street in Huntington Station from April 16 at 10 p.m. A 2008 Yamaha Raptor and 2014 Yamaha Raptor were stolen from a yard, police said.
