This hands-on workshop will center on the constructed photograph. Creating dioramas and working in miniature is entrenched in the history of photography. This workshop will expand on how contemporaries use these techniques and attendees create their own from various sources. Bring printouts of your photos, clip art and your camera.

Kieran Johnson is a practicing artist and arts educator. Kieran Johnson currently is the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Office Administrator. Prior to coming to VLA, Kieran worked at the Richard Avedon Foundation as their Office Manager and Educational Coordinator, guiding tours and leading the internship program. He is active with The Society for Photographic Education, The Penumbra Foundation, The Center for Book Arts and The Huntington Arts Council among other arts organizations.
