Long Island Comedian Interviews Entertainment Icons While Stuck in Traffic

Comedian Neil Rubenstein Has Figured Out A Better Use For His Long Commutes.

February 2016 (Plainview, NY) – Sitting in traffic just got a whole lot more entertaining with comedian Neil Rubenstein’s podcast, “In Traffic with Neil Rubenstein.” Rubenstein’s natural flow of witty and dry humor mixed with his subtle remarks and casual small talk undeniably makes a hilarious concoction for a celebrity interview.

Rubenstein’s podcast, “In Traffic with Neil Rubenstein,” features many legendary people in the entertainment industry, including members of bands like Bayside, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, and The All American Rejects, as well as writers like Sarit Catz (Full House), Brian Diaz (1800 Miles To Nowhere) and Jonah Bayer (AP, Vice, Playboy). Additionally, Rubenstein has interviewed fellow podcasters like Ron Richards (iFanboy, All About Adnroid), Ryan Penagos (This Week In Marvel), Tony Thaxton (Feliz Navipod) and Alia Janine (Whoremones). The duration of “In Traffic with Neil Rubinstein” tends to vary depending on just how bad traffic is that day, but the podcast usually lasts thirty to forty-five minutes, and covers a wide range of topics from Mike Kennerty’s obsession with sugar cereal and Tony Thaxton’s Star Wars ticket buying debacle, to preferred gender pronouns and discussions on voting.

This is not Rubenstein’s first venture into the world of entertainment. You may have seen him on Spike’s Casino Cinema alongside Steve Sharripa and Beth O, his appearances on 30 Rock & Flight Of The Concords, or heard him co-host Domestic Disturbance on KRock 92.3. Additionally, Rubenstein has performed on two gold records, and has co-founded a non-profit record label called “Fadeaway Records,” which raised over $25,000 for cancer research.
