Huntington Summer Arts Festival at Heckscher Park Huntington Village – July, 7

With its company composed of some of Long Island’s best, the Summer Arts Festival is excited to feature The Long Island Dance Consortium (LIDC), a dynamic dance company, for their first performance this concert season. LIDC is a non-profit organization consisting of members of the Long Island dance community, committed to provide education, awareness and understanding of all forms of dance in order to expand and cultivate the dance audience on Long Island. This performance will showcase the talents some of the finest professional dance companies on the island. Among them this evening are The Red Hot Mamas, an energetic group of tap dancers aged 56-85, who will perform with their usual sophistication and precision. The excitement continues as The Dance Theatre Company takes the stage as they will showcase their trademark jazz, lyrical and tap dance style. The finale will consist of the brilliant dancers of the Long Island Dance Company, who will perform their sensational cutting edge choreography.
