Long Island Toddler Struck And Killed In Driveway Of His Home: Cops
The driver and other family members took the boy to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead Saturday, Suffolk cops say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — A toddler was struck and killed by a Sport-utility vehicle in the driveway of his home in Huntington Station on Saturday morning, Suffolk cops say.
Briceida Moreira De Moreira was driving a 2006 Lexus RX 330 to 3rd Avenue, when the SUV struck Rasool Guevara in the driveway, at about 11:37 a.m., said police, adding that Moreira De Moreira and other family members took the boy to Huntington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Moreira De Moreira, a 34-year-old Huntington Station resident, was driving with a permit only and was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.

The Lexus was impounded for a safety check, according to police.
Police did not offer any further details about the crash.
