Recently, Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) combined forces with Project TOY and the Huntington Tri Community and Youth Agency (Tri CYA) for their annual holiday toy drive. Lupinacci was able to collect hundreds of toys during his 2017 Caring for Children Toy Drive and donate those to local families in need at the Tri CYA, located in Huntington Station. Many of these toys were contributed to by local community groups such as the Melville Fire Department and Harborfields Public Library.
“Each year, we join the Tri CYA in this incredible initiative, which makes holiday presents a reality for so many less fortunate children,” Lupinacci said. “I am proud to, once again, join them in this effort and put smiles on the faces of so many boys and girls this holiday season,” Lupinacci continued.
“I would like to thank the Tri CYA and Project TOY for all of their great work in the greater Huntington region,” Lupinacci said.
