Lupinacci Congratulates Local Music School on Grand Opening

Grace Music School opens

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I,-South Huntington) recently joined the Grace Music School for its Grand Opening celebration. The school’s new facility opened its doors in Melville earlier this month, and Lupinacci presented the school’s director, Grace Heaphy, with an Official New York State Assembly Citation.

The Grace Music School is a family-owned instructional institution which teaches local students the intangibles needed to succeed in the field of music. The state-of-the-art music studio will be home to lessons for the region’s most successful young musicians, notably those who participate and are judged by New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), Suffolk County Music Educators Association (SCMEA) and many more.

“I am proud to welcome the Grace Music School to the 10th Assembly District. As an educator, I understand the importance music plays in the development of a young mind,” Lupinacci said. “It is my hope that the Grace Music School’s new facility in Melville will expand music education opportunities in the South Huntington region, while allowing its students to develop their playing capabilities to the highest of levels.”
