LUPINACCI CONGRATULATES NURSING, EMT, PHARMACY GRADUATES

Lupinacci recently met with staff and graduates of the Long Island Education Opportunity Center.

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington), pictured with staff and graduates, was on hand December 4 for the Long Island Educational Opportunity Center’s fall 2015 Awards and Pinning Ceremony, held at Farmingdale State College’s Little Theatre at Roosevelt Hall.

There, students who completed certified nurse aides, pharmacy technicians and emergency medical technician studies under the Allied Health program celebrated the successful completion of their studies, and students who earned awards of excellence for their clinical, academic, practical skills and simulation lab work also were spotlighted.

As part of the State University of New York under the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development, Educational Opportunity Centers like the one offered at Farmingdale are the only tuition-free SUNY programs available.
