LUPINACCI, HUNTINGTON NAACP CELEBRATE DR. KING'S LEGACY
Lupinacci joined the Huntington NAACP to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) joined leaders of the Huntington NAACP Monday night in a remembrance of civil rights pioneer Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Speaking at Bethel AME Church during the branch’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Jubilee Program, Lupinacci celebrated King’s tireless advocacy for fairness and equality, which, framed in faith, optimism and nonviolence, touched on all aspects of American life and shaped them for the better.
“Very simply, his efforts helped to make these United States a more perfect union, and left a blueprint by which all of us can make the world we live in a better place – as well as a mandate that we must do it,” Lupinacci said, echoing King’s message that “the time is always right to do what is right.”
