Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently welcomed regional representatives of the League of Women Voters to his district office to discuss the organization’s legislative priorities and the important issues that impact New York State. Specific issues included voter enrollment, ethics reform and their upcoming “Students Inside Albany” day.
“The dedicated members of the League of Women Voters have brought together a coalition of non-partisan advocates from our local community who want to encourage voter education, enrollment and civic participation,” Lupinacci said. “After speaking with them, I am pleased to learn that we share many legislative priorities and goals such as ethics reforms and creating a more transparent Albany.
“I applaud and thank the League of Women Voters for their dedication to American democracy and I look forward to seeing them in Albany for this year’s ‘Students Inside Albany’ day,” Lupinacci said.
