Lupinacci Reminds Residents of Tax Exemption Deadline

Residents of Huntington, Babylon have until March 1 to file.

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I – South Huntington) is reminding residents of the 10th Assembly District of the upcoming tax exemption deadline for the Towns of Huntington and Babylon.

“The March 1 deadline for filing tax exemption is right around the corner,” said Lupinacci. “This is a friendly reminder for my neighbors to visit their town’s tax exemption website to see if they qualify for any of the exceptions being offered. Some of these taxes include first-time home buyers, veterans, and those individuals who qualify for the School Tax Relief (STAR) Program. With the difficult economic environment that exists in New York these days, any extra income that can be saved is crucial.”
