Lupinacci Speaks With Ronald Reagan Republican Club
Lupinacci addresses the Ronald Reagan club during its monthly meeting.

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently joined the Ronald Reagan Republican Club for its monthly meeting to discuss the 2016-2017 State Budget and the Assembly Minority Conference’s priorities for the end of legislative session.
“With two weeks of session left, there are still so many issues left unaddressed. The people of New York State deserve a Legislature that works on behalf of its constituents – and that means addressing issues like college tuition costs, ethics reform and growing concerns about heroin abuse in our communities,” Lupinacci said. “The Assembly Minority has been working since last year on solutions to this crisis and we have introduced legislation to help those addicted as well as law enforcement. Those bills have been ignored. How many more lives are to be put in jeopardy before the Assembly Majority chooses to act?” Lupinacci said.
During the meeting, Lupinacci also cited a recent Newsday article titled “Albany doing as little as possible,” when referencing Assembly’s ethics reform impasse.

“It is unbelievable that the Assembly Majority has not taken measures to bring real ethics reform to the table and make the Legislature accountable once again,” Lupinacci said. “New York State must have a government that is accountable to the people. That means we need to enact real and meaningful ethics reforms.”
