LUPINACCI TALKS FUTURE OF SUNY WITH MARCELLINO AND ZIMPHER
Lupinacci recently met with Sen. Marcellino and SUNY Chancellor Zimpher to discuss the future of the SUNY System.

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington), Ranking Member on the Assembly Committee on Higher Education, recently joined the Long Island Association for a Special Executive Breakfast. The Assemblyman was joined by SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher and State Senator Carl Marcellino. During this event, they discussed the Long Island Association’s Health, Education and Not-For-Profit Committee and the future of the SUNY System throughout New York State.
“The Long Island Association and their Health Education and Not-For-Profit Committee are committed to not only creating a business-friendly economic environment on Long Island, but also are very concerned about Higher Education issues and how the State University of New York system may impact our local economies,” Lupinacci began.
“I am pleased that the Long Island Association has brought lawmakers, Chancellor Zimpher and local business leaders together to share insight about the future of our Higher Education system in New York State. Discussions like these allow information to flow freely and create a very interesting dialogue which benefits all parties involved,” Lupinacci continued.
