Lupinacci Tours Honeywell Regional Headquarters

The Melville-based center focuses on home security products.

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently toured the Melville regional headquarters of Honeywell International, Inc., a Fortune-100 company best known for manufacturing an array of consumer home products and security systems as well as military and civilian aerospace products.

“It was very interesting to learn more about all of the cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art facilities located within the 10th Assembly District,” Lupinacci said. “It is my top priority to keep jobs and businesses on Long Island and throughout the State of New York, and Honeywell is doing its part to keep our local economy strong.”

Honeywell employs more than 130,000 people around the world, including 58,000 in the United States. Lupinacci applauded the company’s efforts to reach out to young people and enrich their educational experiences in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields.
