Lupinacci Visits Huntington Drug and Alcohol Counseling Center

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently joined the Huntington Drug and Alcohol Counseling Center for their 45th Anniversary Celebration. During the celebration, Lupinacci commended the program for bringing attention to the addiction-based issues that face society today.

“Assistance programs like the Huntington Drug and Alcohol Counseling Center and raising awareness about the very real issues facing New York State today are important to combating addiction,” Lupinacci said. “After speaking with men and women within our district and throughout Long Island and participating in the Assembly Minority’s Heroin Task Force, it is clear that the state must do more to increase awareness, prevention and education.

“Organizations like the Huntington Drug and Alcohol Counseling Center are crucial to the grassroots efforts combating drug use and addiction. I applaud the Center for its 45 years of dedicated service to the Huntington community, and I look forward to its continued work in the future,” Lupinacci said.
