LUPINACCI VISITS LEWIS OLIVER FARM FOR CORPORATE COMMUNITY DAY
Lupinacci speaks to volunteers at Lewis Oliver Farm.

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently visited the Lewis Oliver Farm in Northport to participate in National Grid’s Corporate Community Day. At the event, volunteers from PSEG, National Grid and the Moonjumpers Charitable Foundation restored the farm’s barn roof, refurbished animal pens and planted upwards of 50 trees throughout the farmland. Lewis Oliver Farm is a staple of the Northport and Huntington community and has served as a landmark for families to visit and reconnect with the area’s historic beginnings.
“I applaud National Grid for its efforts in the community – this event truly set an example of how to support local initiatives and serve the people,” Lupinacci said. “I am grateful to have been invited to the renovation of Lewis Oliver Farm and to celebrate the spectacular things that can be accomplished when we give back to the community.”
The 42 volunteers from National Grid were presented with Assembly Certificates of Merit for their participation and charitable efforts in the local community.
