Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently welcomed South Huntington resident Taylor Fox, to Albany for the League of Women Voters’ Annual “Students Inside Albany” Day. Students Inside Albany Day gives students the opportunity to get legislative experience while shadowing a member of the state Legislature for a full day.

“I’m always thrilled to work with passionate and involved individuals like Taylor,” said Lupinacci. “Her enthusiasm in government and local politics is extremely encouraging. It is wonderful to see today’s young voters taking an initiative, becoming involved and staying informed about the issues that face our state.”

Lupinacci also acknowledged the League of Women Voters for its efforts to educate today’s voting-age population.

“As we celebrate the 99th year of women’s suffrage in New York, I applaud the dedicated women of the League of Women Voters for frequently discussing the issues that face our towns, county, state and nation, and can’t thank them enough for their engagement and devotion to the American democratic system,” said Lupinacci.
