'Maggie Matters March' Set for Tuesday, Oct. 21

Community members plan to meet at Heckscher Park in Huntington

A rally will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 5:30 p.m. in an honor of Maggie E. Rosales, the Huntington Station teen who was found dead late Sunday night in Huntington Station. A Facebook page, Maggie Matters March, has been set up ahead of the event.

Community members plan to meet at Heckscher Park in Huntington, and then march together to the Huntington Town Board meeting at Town Hall, at 100 Main Street. The town board meeting starts at 6 p.m.

Participants are asked to wear maroon and white Wildcat colors in Maggie Rosales’ honor, and to bring an electric candle to carry into Town Hall in a procession.
