Man Steals $900 Worth Of Herbs From Huntington Restaurant: Police

The man left his car and nabbed pots of herbs from the small business, police say. Watch the video inside the story.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say stole herbs from a Huntington business this month.

A man stole herbs and other items stored outside of La Parma II Italian Restaurant, at 452 West Jericho Turnpike, at approximately 3 a.m. Friday, police said. The merchandise was valued at approximately $900, police said. The man is wanted for petty larceny.

Video posted to YouTube by Suffolk police show the man leave his car and make two trips to steal pots containing the herbs.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
