Man Steals Security Camera From Suffolk Business: SCPD

Police are looking for the man; have you seen him?

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help in finding the man who stole a security camera from a Huntington Station business in August.

The man stole a security camera from outside of John J. Contracting, located at 140 W. Pulaski Road, around 1:50 a.m. on Aug. 4, police said. The camera was valued near $800. The man is wanted on charges of petty larceny.

Police ask anyone with information about the theft to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
