Man Steals Wallet From Gas Station

HUNTINGTON, NY–Suffolk County Police are seeking the public's help to find the man who stole a wallet containing cash from a Huntington gas station in March.

He stole the wallet from the BP gas station located at 1075 Park Ave. around 7:40 p.m. on March 26. He then fled in a 2005 Blue Jeep Liberty with New York license plate HVS 4600. The thief was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and work boots.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
