Man Stole Power Tools From Home Depot With Getaway Driver: SCPD

A man stole nearly $1,000 worth of power tools from a Huntington Station Home Depot then fled with a getaway driver.

HUNTINGTON, NY--Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to find the man who stole items from a Huntington Station store in March.

The man stole $958 worth of power tools from the Home Depot located at 785 New York Ave. on March 25 around 3:30 p.m., police said. He proceeded to flee in a silver Nissan Altima with a New York license plate reading JEV2886, police said. An unknown driver was waiting in the parking lot to assist with the getaway.

Police ask anyone with information about the theft to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
