Man Uses Credit Cards From Lost Wallet In Huntington: Police

When a man lost his wallet, another man found it and used the credit cards inside, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said used stolen credit cards in Huntington in April.

A Greenlawn man lost his wallet in Huntington on April 26, police said. A man used credit cards from the wallet to make purchases at It’s Lit Smoke Shop, at 341 New York Ave. in Huntington, and E-Smoke & Cigar, at 312 Main St. in Huntington, the same day, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
