Manor Field Park Football Field to be Renamed After Emerson Boozer

The dedication ceremony for the local football legend will be held Saturday.

The Town of Huntington will rename the football field at Manor Field Park in honor of Huntington’s own Super Bowl III Champion, Emerson Boozer.

The dedication will be in recognition of Boozer’s induction into the New York Jets Ring of Honor.

The ceremony will be held at the park, located on East 5th Street in Huntington Station, Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

Councilman Mark Cuthbertson sponsored the dedication.
