Marcie Mazzola 5K Raises $30K for Children in Need
Proceeds will benefit the summer camp scholarship program at the Huntington YMCA and additional children's programs.

The 2015 Marcie Mazzola 5k Memorial Run/ Walk raised close to $30,000 for children in need on Sunday.
The Huntington YMCA and the Family Service League collaborated with the Marcie Mazzola Foundation to organize this race. The event started and finished at the Huntington YMCA, 60 Main St.
This year’s event fundraised more money than the 2014 race, which brought in about $25,000, according to the Marcie Mazzola Foundation website.

Proceeds will benefit the MMF’s butterfly strokes program, the summer camp scholarship program at Huntington YMCA and children’s programs at the Family Service League.
Councilwoman Susan A. Berland and Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci joined Nancy and Paul Mazzola in kicking off the event.
