Men Steal Credit Cards From Huntington Station Gym: Police

Three men stole cash and credit cards from a locked locker at a gym and tried to use them to make $2,000 in purchases, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the three men who Suffolk police said stole credit cards from a gym in Huntington Station in July.

Three men stole cash and credit cards from a locked locker at LA Fitness, at 305 W. Jericho Turnpike, around 2 p.m. July 30, police said. The trio used the cards at BJ’s Wholesale, at 50 Daniel St., Farmingdale, where they tried to make approximately $2,000 in purchases, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
