Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash: Police
He lost control of his motorcycle and crashed early Saturday morning, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash Saturday morning in Huntington, and police are investigating.
Thomas Horton, 55, of Manorville, was driving a 1996 Yamaha northbound on Centerport Road, near Blenheim Lane, when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed around 4:10 a.m., police said.
A passing motorist saw Horton lying on the side of the roadway and called 911. Horton was brought to Huntington Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check.
