New Physical Therapy Facility Comes to Huntington

A brand new physical therapy facility has recently opened its doors to the Huntington community.

The Huntington location is the first Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Services physical therapy facility in Suffolk County, the North Shore-LIJ Health System announced last week.

The first Suffolk County STARS, located at 1160 East Jericho Turnpike, is a 4,000 square foot facility that features a state-of-the-art gym that offers:

• Orthopaedic and joint replacement rehabilitation
• Balance therapy
• Sports therapy
• Back and spine care
• Fracture and trauma care
• Hand therapy
• Pain management
• Post-rehabilitation fitness programs

Four physical therapists, one hand therapist and four physical therapy assistants will be at this location.
