Organized religion faces many challenges as people and communities change. Judaism has met these challenges for the last 3,500 years. We have gone from an oral tradition, to a priestly cult, to rabbinic shtetl Judaism, to post-WWII organizational Judaism.

Judaism is now on the cusp of another transition. On Sunday, October 25, 2015, Rabbi David Wolfman will be at Temple Beth El in Huntington to discuss these shifts.

Rabbi Wolfman will explain where we are now, and then lead a discussion on where we are going as Jewish individuals and as a Jewish community. Rabbi Wolfman is comfortable with your uncomfortable questions on faith, community and change.

This important discussion on faith, transition and change is free and open to the public.
