  1. Pedestrian seriously injured in Friday night crash. A man was crossing New York Avenue near Depot Rd. when he was hit by a 58-year-old woman driving a 2017 Chevrolet sedan. The man was transported to Huntington Hospital with serious injuries and his name was not released by police. (Huntington Patch)
  2. Cold Spring Harbor man charged with driving while intoxicated after crash injures passenger. Maxwell Hawkinson, 18, was driving a 2021 Jaguar F-Pace northbound on West Neck Road, south of Clearview Street, when he crossed into the southbound lane, struck a tree, a utility pole and a second tree at 1:15 a.m. Saturday night. Hawkinson was brought to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries and his passenger was treated for serious injuries. (Huntington Patch)
  3. Plainview man dies after driving off dock in Port Jefferson. The man suffered a medical emergency and drove into the water from West Broadway. He was pulled from the water Friday night and pronounced dead at the scene. (Daily Voice)
