Police: Man Sends Officer to Hospital, Burberry Shirt Thief Arrested
Here are recent reports of grand larceny, identity theft and assault in Huntington.

Monday, April 6
At 9 p.m., police reported identity theft in which an unknown person made fraudulent charges online at Walmart using a credit card while the card was still in the victim’s possession on Sandra Court in Huntington Station.

At 8 a.m., police reported grand larceny in the third degree in South Huntington. Police said four people removed handbags without paying for them at Lord and Taylor on W. Jericho Turnpike.
At 7:05 p.m., police arrested a 43-year-old Huntington Station Man for assault and resisting arrest on Columbia Street in Huntington Station. Police said he injured an officer by bending his finger. The officer needed to go to the hospital for treatment.

Thursday, April 9
At 6:42 p.m., police arrested Nathan McCorkle, 49, of Hempstead, and charged him with grand larceny in the fourth degree. Police said McCorkle stole about $1,200 worth of Burberry shirts from Bloomingdales on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station.
