SmesFest is an all-day Renaissance and Rock Festival to celebrate the life of beloved Calhoun High School history teacher Doug Smestad. The day will include live music, craft vendors, games and medieval demonstrations.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to Candlelighters NYC (an affiliate of the American Childhood Cancer Association) and Sunrise Day Camp, which allows children fighting cancer the opportunity to enjoy a summer camp experience.
