  2. Huntington drama club presents 'The Curious Savage'. The Huntington High School drama club will present 'The Curious Savage' on Friday and Saturday night. The show will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and then at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. Cast members are excited to be back in the high school auditorium after a more than 18 month hiatus due to COVID-19.   3. Smyth, Ferro, Bennardo win in Huntington. Republican Ed Smyth defeated Democrat Rebecca Sanin and independent Gene Cook. Two other newcomers, Sal Ferro and Dr. David Bennardo, were elected to the town board as Republicans. That will give the Republicans control of the board, while Cook, who joined the Republicans last year but often served as a swing vote, remains as a member. Joan Cergol is the only Democrat.
