Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia Recognized by Cold Spring Harbor FD
Raia was surprised by Ex-Chief James Felton with a beautifully engraved crystal bowl.

From The Town of Huntington: On Saturday, March 23rd, Huntington Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia attended the 167th Installation Dinner of the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department to administer the Oaths of Office for each of the Chiefs and Department Officers.
Over the years, Ms. Raia has assisted the Department in numerous situations and at many events. It has been the tradition for the Department to have her administer each of the officers’ Oaths of Office as they embark upon another year of service to the residents of the Cold Spring Harbor Fire District.
After the installation, Ms. Raia was surprised by Ex-Chief James Felton with a beautifully engraved Crystal Bowl recognizing her “with deep appreciation for your many years of service to the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department.” This recognition follows her distinction several years ago, when the department honored Ms. Raia with the title as a Lifetime Honorary Member.
“Every year is always an enjoyable experience and an honor for me to administer the Oaths of Office to so many dedicated individuals who selflessly serve the residents of their Fire District. I was genuinely surprised and I am deeply honored to be recognized by Ex-Chief Felton, the Chiefs and the entire department. I have known many of the members for over 30 years and perhaps now, after I retire, I will continue to stay involved by attending their monthly meetings,” commented Ms. Raia.
