HUNTINGTON, NY — Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Huntington Village recently donated hundreds of smoothies to Huntington Hospital as a 'thank you' to the health care workers on the front lines in their efforts against the new coronavirus. Five different flavors of the fruity drinks were sent by the 61 Wall St., Huntington branch.

Tropical Smoothie, as a franchise, announced its goal of donating 100,000 smoothies to health care workers across the United States who are fighting COVID-19, Fox News reported. The brand is calling the promotion the "In It Together Campaign," and the Huntington location is one of many participating.
