1. Marijuana Sales On The Huntington, Northport Agendas. As many towns grapple with allowing marijuana sales or not, both Northport and Huntington will decide this week. 2. Huntington Holds 2021 Veterans Day Ceremony. Town of Huntington Supervisor Chad. A Lupinacci, Deputy Supervisor Ed Smyth, Councilwoman Joan Cergol and Town Clerk Andrew Raia were joined by the Huntington Veterans Advisory Board, New York State and Suffolk County officials for a Veterans Day Ceremony last week. The ceremony was held on Veterans Plaza at Huntington Town Hall to honor veterans of the Town of Huntington and across our nation. (LongIsland.com)
3. Whitman To Play For Division I Title With 35-29 Win. Walt Whitman football is headed to the Suffolk County championship game. The Wildcats beat Ward Melville Saturday, 35-29. The team went 10-0 and will go up against William Floyd at Stony Brook University. That game is scheduled for 7 p.m. (http://www.huntingtonNow.com)
