  1. Newsday endorses Sanin for Huntington supervisor. With Chad Lupinacci out of the race for supervisor due to sexual misconduct accusations, it's Rebecca Sanin (D) vs. Edmund Smyth (R), and democrat Eugene Cook. Newsday has endorsed Sanin for the position. Sanin is a Huntington Station native who has plans to fix infrastructure and have no 'drama' during her tenure. She also wants to streamline technology and modernize many services. (Newsday)
  2. Eatery 19 opens in Syosset. Looking for a new spot to try this weekend? Eatery 19 opened this summer and has had tremendous success. Take a 10 minute drive to Syosset to check out this Chinese and Taiwanese spot that serves authentic food and noodle dishes. (LongIsland.com)
  3. Jets name Whitman's Rosa coach of the week. Whitman football coach Robin Rosa has been named high school coach of the week by the New York Jets. Rosa will receive a monetary award of $1,000 to benefit the school’s football program. In addition, Rosa will be invited to attend the New York Jets vs. New Orleans Saints game on Sunday, Dec. 12.
