Woman Stole From Same K-Mart 3 Times In Week: Suffolk Police

A woman stealing from the same K-Mart, needles containing heroin residue and a pair of DWIs make up some Huntington arrests for the week.

HUNTINGTON, NY–Check out some of the recent arrests made in the Huntington area, from May 23 through May 26.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.

  • Marlon Murillo, 25, of Huntington Station, allegedly backed up his car and blocked a roadway on East Ninth Street and Varney Avenue and possessed cocaine. He was arrested and charged with a DWI and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on May 26.
  • Terrence O'Brien, 43, and Kara Smith, 33, of Huntington, allegedly left hypodermic needles containing heroin residue in a car in a parking lot located at 324 West Shore Road. They were arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on May 26.
  • Andres Santos, 36, of Huntington, allegedly fell asleep while driving with a license that was suspended or revoked after drinking at 1075 Park Ave. in Greenlawn. He was arrested and charged with a DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on May 25.
  • April Thompson, 45, of Huntington Station, allegedly stole multiple hover-boards, clothes and a car seat from the Kmart located at 2280 N. Ocean Ave. in Farmingville on three separate occasions between Dec. 16 through Dec. 19, 2018. She was arrested and charged with three counts of petty larceny on May 23.
