Kings Park Man Pleads Guilty in Rape Case
Luis Sanchez pleaded guilty on Wednesday to the Aug 2011 rape of a Kings Park woman.
Luis Sanchez, who was arrested in August of last yea has entered a plea of guilty.
According to court documents, Sanchez, 24, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Suffolk County Criminal Court to 10 felony charges, which include three counts of felony rape, four counts of a criminal sex act and three counts of predatory sexual assault. Court records show a DNA test was ordered in August of 2011.

According to police, the woman was jogging on Marvin Drive around 6 a.m. on Aug 9, when she was approached and forced into a nearby wooded area and sexually assaulted.
Sanchez is due to appear in court on July 31 for sentencing.
