Police Seek Woman Who Stole From Smithtown Supermarket
Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman responsible for stealing items from a Smithtown store last month.
Police say the woman was with two children when she entered ShopRite, located at 335 Nesconset Highway, on Jan. 17 and placed diapers, dryer sheets and detergent in a shopping cart.
The woman attempted to return the items at the customer service desk and when she was denied, the woman fled the store with the merchandise at about 3:15 p.m., police said. The items have a value of approximately $100.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
