Police Seeking Men Who Stole Five Playstations From Commack Target

The men were sprayed a security guard with mace and escaped in a minivan, police said.

Police are looking to identifying and locating two men who stole PlayStations from a Commack store back in November.

Two men entered the Target store on 98 Veterans Memorial Highway, placed five Sony PlayStations in a cart and left the store without paying for them on November 28, 2014 at 2 p.m., police said.

When the men were approached by security at the exit, one of them sprayed mace into the guard’s face, police said.

The men then fled in a black Chrysler minivan, according to police.

One man is described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants while the second man was wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black baseball cap, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
