Local governments, nonprofits, and housing partners can apply for a share of $2 million, with a webinar and clear deadlines to help applicants pursue long‑term affordable units for residents. 
• Three beat up man waiting to take ride at Dutchess Fair (midhudsonnews.com) — Two Kingston men are among three suspects charged after a serious assault on a fairgoer at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, with the victim treated at Kingston's HealthAlliance Hospital. State Police have made arrests but are still asking anyone who witnessed the late‑August attack to come forward with additional information.
