Busy Kingston street safety improvement study findings set to be released (dailyfreeman.com) — Kingston drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians may soon see safety upgrades along Ulster and Albany avenues, as county planners prepare to unveil a detailed corridor study on Oct. 20. Vehicle strikes building in Kingston (newportdispatch.com) — Emergency crews in Kingston responded after a 92‑year‑old driver accidentally drove a car into a building at 33 Grand Street on Sept. 29, causing only minor structural damage. Kingston police and firefighters assisted at the scene, and the uninjured driver was taken to HealthAlliance Hospital for unrelated reasons while the vehicle was safely moved.
